Now about the door chime...whats that for? We have the door adjar warning light. We need to exhaust every avenue to find out if it can be switched off.

Those of you who hate all chimes could try pulling the wires off of the sounder - that would stop it - I think it's under the dash somewhere near the steering column - set it going and you'll soon find it !

I did that once on another car some time back. It wouldn't start! I had to plug it back in.
Sad

Oh !! Didnt think of that - was it a Land Rover? However not too difficult to re-connect it if that happens.

No Chevrolet. But I didn't put it back together as I wanted to sort it out the next day. That night we had an emergency and needed the car. After trying to crank it again I finally too the trim pieces back off and plugged in the chime. The car started up perfectly. Been a little scared
To try it again as cars have only progressed technically. Will wait on someone else to try it!!

Yes...........................

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Are you going to let us in on it? Wink

I remember someone saying they had seen a device on eBay purporting to allow video in motion (think it plugged into the stereo loom somewhere) - is that how you've managed it?
