Excellent information... I will do that today !!! Did you have to do the same for passenger seat belt or it will stop for both seats ?

Hi,
I know this is not the real solution, but helps to prevent chime of door open, if you have automatic gearbox:
put gearbox on "N" and put the parking break before opening Wink

Did you make sure you performed the 9 when in accessories mode?

Just picked up my car this morning (construction date 23/01/2013) en it works like a charm... First thing I did!! What a great trick!!

It only sort of worked on my 2013 Evoque. While it does prevent the reminder chime from sounding if driving without a belt, that was never my problem. My annoyance is the seven chimes that still occur when starting the car before buckling.
