RE: Seat belt chime

Yes I brought a car with a dual view screen, plays TV and DvD's perfectly while I'm driving, but not so I can see them! Even though you cannot see a picture while driving you can still listen to the audio of the dvd/tv, I cannot figure out what this thing about being able to watch TV/DvDs while you are driving is about, you should be concentrating on the road not a tiny screen showing a distraction. As soon as you stop with the TV/Dvd playing then the sound reverts to a picture and sound too until you move off.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Seat belt chime

Not too fussed with it myself - think others have been interested as it enables passengers in the rear to watch if they don't have the RSE option (though iPads were mentioned as probably a better solution anyway), or at least to listen to a movie even if you aren't watching it. Think i read it also enables you to select the rear view cam while in forward motion but don't know if that's something you can't normally do (not yet taken delivery of mine) - not sure when you'd particularly want to do that either, but it was mentioned as a benefit.
