RE: MY14 ???

Generally, when LR do a new model year production starts after the summer break (July) at the factory for first sales in time for the September 1st new number plates in the UK. Expect the new auto gearbox, a £1000-£1500 price hike and the loss of a load of what are now standard items to the options list in best LR tradition. Maybe some new colours from the RRS /FFRR range of options and some new alloy wheel designs (I hope we don't get any of the awful concoctions available on the new RRS, they are way too Khan/Revere'esque

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: MY14 ???

Keep in mind too that although the car is made in the UK, significant content comes from abroad which, with the weak pound, will put more pressure on pricing and the de-contenting Tim mentions.

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

RE: MY14 ???

Can someone confirm that the MY14 will be available to order from June for October?
Will it have the 9 speed auto?
Anything else?

RE: MY14 ???

My dealer in aus said that i can order from around June / July for delivery around September. I assume then that they will know the MY14 specs in June. I have my doubts that aus will get the 9 speed for MY14 as "apparently" they haven't even officially told the dealers here that there is a 9 speed box in the works! I have also been told that they are dropping OG and replacing it with either corris or causeway grey ( both available on the new RRsport.)

RE: MY14 ???

I think those expecting MY14 in September might be disappointed. I heard recently that it was more likely to be October or even November before it becomes available in the UK but.......nothing is confirmed until it is confirmed!!!
