Alloy repair has been approved by insurer. They won't pay for a new tyre though as both dealer and tyre shop (ATS) have confirmed damage should just be cosmetic and so tyre does not need replacing. ...

Ok cool. Was getting worried! I'm wondering whether to try thy sticky roll thing to pull them out. What you think? The fibres are white so make the seats look aged.... Not under a month old!!!

WB - that would have been me! Yes - pin had snapped in the locking mechanism in the door which needed replacing. Took a couple of hours to replace and been fine since.

So the good news........ All the rattles appear to have been fixed and the car now appears to be blissfully quiet. The bad news..... When picking up I noticed a scratch on the rear drivers side door!...

I actually really like the new 3 series, especially the interior which is finally a modern step up for BMW. That said, never in a million years (cost aside) would I ever have considered getting one in...

Similar spec to mine. Did you consider going for black contrast roof? I am biased but think it also sets it off. Also you might want to consider going for the Lux pack which includes a lot of extras...
