hi fellow aussie's,

just wanted some thoughts on altering/changing/adding options to my order. Pretty sure dealer said I have a nov build for delivery in Jan 2012. I called him last week asking if I could add the magneride suspension and keyless entry option to my si4 prestige. Seemed like a bit of an issue to do this?? not really understanding why it's an issue if my car isn't getting built until november?? shouldn't I be able to chop n change anything until this date?

My dealer has told me I can change up till the end of september, thats with an October build slot....

Ignore me. It would seem that photobucket is firewalled in the office! Heading to the dealer tonight to get a test drive and pay a dep. Prob go for all Black Pure with Pano.

Once I saw the press shots of the Evoque I was stunned and had to have one!

Went to the launch last Thursday and wasn't disappointed with the vehicle in the flesh. Great drive in both petrol and diesel models. Manual box was very positive with shortish throw.

Dealer had a Prestige Auto 2.2SDi in Firenze Red available for delivery at the end of September so I slept on it overnight and put my order in!

I would probably have prefered manual but Auto was the only choice as I need the vehicle for both work and personal use.

Tried 19" and 20" wheels and ride quality was a bit choppy with the larger wheels but good on the smaller option.

We will be developing AmD performance tuning and Milltek stainless exhausts for the Evoque so want to get started asap as I think the exhaust is something that maybe lets the cars looks down?

Anyway, can't wait til October for delivery!
