Reto fitting Sat Nav

As the evoque has the centre screen as standard, I was wondering if it would be possible to retro fit the Sat Nat functionality? Is it just and additional plug in module?

At a minimum It would be the satnav module and the gps receiver. I had satnav retrofitted to a Mercedes a few years ago (by a specialist not a dealer) and it was surprisingly simple as the car had the wiring loom etc but not sure if anyone has attempted yet in an evoque

RE: Reto fitting Sat Nav

To retrofit the LR Sat Nav, why bother? Compared to even the cheapest aftermarket Sat Nav it's a load of rubbish.
To retrofit an aftermarket Sat Nav displayed on the main screen then definetly a good choice.

Ordered 17/2/12 Dynamic SD4 Auto 5dr, Mauritius Blue, Pan roof, 20" style 6 (gloss black), Vortex, Ebony Headlining, Ent Pack, Heated St. Wheel, Homelink, Pr Glass, Auto Dim r.view mirror, spare wheel

If you go over to http://www.freel2.com there are a couple of excellent stickied threads about integrating TomTom style satnavs into the dash. Unfortunately RRE even in it's most basic version doesn't have a large hole in the centre of the dash to slot an aftermarket satnav into neatly.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
