Peak torque is 420Nm at 1750rpm.

RE: Mpg

Averaging over 38mpg across 43k in 2 years with my Td4. It's getting better with age. Last trip broke the 500 miles in the tank marker.
I don't drive like a granny either.

RE: Mpg

Hi all, not posted for a while so just catching up.

Two and a half years in with 23,000 on the clock on my SD4 and averaging 31 mpg. About 70/30 town/motorway driving. Not particularly great but better than my old Landcruiser!!!

Honeymoons over though, and considering whether to change. Probably wont stay with LR.

Arrived 16th December 2011: 5 door Prestige SD4 auto in Barolo black with ambience interior, pano roof, privacy and 20" style 6 alloys.Very Happy

Been running about locally and so far achieved 38.x mpg, which I am impressed with (SD4 manual).

RE: Mpg

We achieved the same with ours as Diagriff did, not brilliant mpg but not catastrophic, if fuel economy is what you yearn this might not be the car for you but it makes up for it in other departments.

The Evoque was a good car though and we don't regret our time with it one bit!!

RE: Mpg

Isn't there one in the technical section of the Evoque section of the LR website, otherwise an email to Pete at LRCS might get you what you want.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Mpg

We've reached 27k miles and mpg is now improving. Just driven down to Carcassonne, 675 miles though France at very decent average speed. Previously on our French trips we've achieved 34 mpg, this time 37 mpg so perhaps the engine needs miles before delivering it's best.

RE: Mpg

Hi,I have now had the opportunity to calculate the actual overall MPG for the first 3400 miles from new(before towing)and have achieved an actual of 42.4 MPG solo.
MPG is increasing as the last 500 miles(up to 4,100 miles)have been calculated giving an actual return of 45.8 MPG solo.
Have not towed a sufficient distance to report MPG whilst towing but looks as though it could be circa 25 MPG.
Only used Texaco standard diesel from new as some supermarket fuels can give variable MPG returns as reported on this forum.
