New Porsche Macan

Pricing seems extremely steep, even in comparison to the Evoque.

If LR can produce an RS version for less they could compete with the higher power porsches easily.

New Porsche Macan

So many options I just specced a Macan S to a similar level as the Evoque I specced on Monday and it jumps into the mid 50s.

Though even the non turbo Macan S gets a 250kw v6 which is bound to be nice.

Would love the engine but the looks are not great, that rear end is UGLY and as you said the options are a killer on porsches.

They make a point that car mats are included, I think that says it all.

RE: New Porsche Macan

So whats new Porsche? Will be a cracking drive, the build quality will be great, and it has a nice looking interior, but gee, that design is something we have already seen for years in the Cayenne, and while that design language looks o.k, it's just soooo boring now....and dare i say it, almost dated already.

Nothing can touch the Evoque on looks, not even the RR Sport.

Not so poor man's Cayenne by the look of it ............... expect to see zillions of them on the road sold to VW Toureg and Audi SQ5 owners

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

That's similar to what I thought after speccing my dynamic on Monday.. 1 grand more gets me an RRS...

RE: New Porsche Macan

Macan S Diesel, exact same options as my Dynamic, £46182.

My Dynamic in todays prices, £40120 (£2000 more than I paid!)

Obviously mine is a Manual, Porsche Macan doesn't have that option. so add ~1600 for Automatic.

MY12 Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual, Pano Roof, Electric Tailgate with own Close module
