...Aside from the quality of the source material, I wonder if it just needed "running in" with a bit of loud stuff to loosen up the speaker cones or whatever. Will never know for sure!

Hmmm you can probably ignore my "Evoque Fire" idea: just noticed you're in the petrol model which will have a different fuel system altogether. Still, Lynx sounds right - something must be leaking...
