Welcome to the forum GrubbyGirl, and all the other new members recently signed up.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Welcome to babyRR.com!

I've been lurking around on here for a couple of weeks. Today I decided to join up so I can join in. My new Evoque arrives on the 16th September 2013. I am sooooo excited. I've wanted one for about 18 months. Every time I'd see one on the road I'd say: "it's a SIGN!" When I was in the showroom making the final colour decision, 3 black ones went past. Guess what colour I chose! BLAAAAACK!
It's brilliant to see all your pictures, ideas and tips. Thanks you.

Maybe the file is too large for upload, try reducing it's size nearer to the limits.

The maximum dimensions for avatars are: 150x100 pixels.
The maximum file size for avatars is 15 KB.

Try downloading your picture to one of these sites like photo bucket first. That's the only way I can get pictures as a Avator or in a post.

Also Irfanview will resize jpegs - it used to be shareware, I used to use it along with another shareware program called coffecup (I think thats what it was called) to make very small files sized animations from my Irfanview reduced images. I don't even know if those programs are still available now we have some many other things available

RE: Welcome to babyRR.com!

Hi all!

My partner and I accidently (!!!) bought an as yet unregistered Evoque SD4 Pure Auto with Tech Pack yesterday afternoon after being disappointed by the test drive in a rather more expensive (and utterly dull!) BMW 330d Touring M Sport X Drive. We fell in love with the Evoque when we drove one (a hired one!) around the snowy Alps last month but thought we ought to change the current car (BMW 5 series) for another BMW...hence yesterday's test drive. A visit to pick up a brochure at the Landrover dealership resulted in us buying the Evoque...and we collect it on Tuesday!

I used to drive Discoverys (plus the odd Defender and Subaru pick up!) in the past - owned 3 over a 10 year period so not unfamiliar with driving 4x4s.

Will admit to be a little concerned about some of the issues I've read about online - hoping that we avoid them!

Smile
