The trials and trbulations of trying to order a new car....

FYI 2014MY base cars have no increase in price except the Si4 that has a small increase to cover the cost of fitting the active drive system. Some of the option packs have also gone up to cover the cost of new toys in the pack. eg Lux Pack has increased by £200 to cover Perpendicular Parking being added to the pack. If you spec the Premium Pack on the Dynamic you can now spec the climate front seats - also on the Prestige. There are also some fancy new options in the Inteligence Pack.

Just been told that my new car will start it's life during the evening shift of the 5th November so I'm going to Halewood to see it going through the final trimming stages along with some of the sales team from Hadley Green.

Hope the LR factory doesn't get hit by a stray firework!

......... We're very much looking forward to it! Matt and I are 'negotiating' who gets to go as one of us needs to hold the fort!

Tim, don't forget the auto dimming rear view mirror isn't part of the lux pack any more, so if you want it, remember to add it

I have the auto-dipping mirror at the moment and find that when combined with the privacy glass it rarely, if ever, dips so although not really hugely concerned about not having it on the new car as it will have privacy glass too, I have asked HGG to check and see if it can be added. I'm not sure but it may be part of the Intelligence Pack - road sign recognition, / speed limit detection/ no overtaking zone detection/ lane departure warning etc. I wish LR would offer the dipping wing mirrors that New RRS and FFRR can be specced with though

I just wanted to ask, has anyone seen a Barolo black dynamic coupe with the black pack??

I'm sure sure if it will go. I just want my car to look black from outside with no silver trims however I'm not sure if Barolo black will look stupid with the black pack??

Lux pack is something I am ordering and interior the red premium pack


Help me spec a decent evoque guys I have until next Friday when I confirm my order. Finance has all gone through I just need to play around with what colour and extras I want
