The List of Suggested Improvements (was 2012 Software Update List)

Id'd like to be able to select the surround camera view with a single touch from the reversing camera full screen view when reversing

1. Artist name between dials, Rather than unneccessary USB1.
2. Dont hide time/temp when Nav commands are active between dials.
3. better dimming levels for lower lighting levels
4. Easy store current location as Favourite in Nav.
5. Turn off door open Chime
6. 'Navigate to' from Phone addresses
7. Show SMS Text on screen when recieved.
8. Album art display. (from tags or folder.jpg)
9. Adjust light level used for auto headlights
10. Show current gear number for manual box, between dials
11. less steps from destination entry to actually enabling Nav destination, currently have to find destination return to map, press 'destination' and press 'Go'
12. Audio '+' button is a bit fiddly to get to other devices.

- iPod mode could use a search function like in the phone mode. Now one has to go through the folders alphabetically. With 7000+ songs in my iPod it takes a quite a bit of pushing (and attention away from driving) to get to artist you want.

- artist name + song name displayed between the dials. (now only song)

I too, would love this. We have the TPMS real time readout option on our Chevrolet Equinox LTZ. If Chevy can do this I'm sure LR can...

I would like a digital readout for actual MpH not just kmh.
Also more direct acesss to the different camera view in the reverse screen
Better track selection like stated above
nav is to unforgiving for different street names as above when entering destinations
More equalizer controls for the stereo

1) An ECO button for the automatics
2) An overboost button to match the Dynamic setting.
3) Security camera function which uses the surround cameras. This is recorded to a blackbox of sort and can record theft, accidents etc.
4) An electronic baffleplate to change exhaust sound characteristics to match the dynamic setting.
5) A hard reset button if your sensors go crazy so that you don't have to unplug your battery, or even touch the positive to negatives

1) System fault readout possibility
2) Seat-belt chimes option setting
3) Door open chimes option setting
4) Any chimes option settings

Of the above list published by Phil I would particularly like items 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 & 11.

It would be great if LR could do these as a software update but at the same time sort out the issues with Apple over use of IPhones.
