Mine was due for build on 16th Dec and I was going to wait untilled January .... but.... dealer called on Thursday to say it had arrived and I am picking up Tuesday.
Happy Christmas.... I wonder if it will come gift wrapped?

If I was lucky enough to have the choice I know I'd be camped outside the dealers waiting to get the car as soon as I could

I have not had the call yet, the Dealer said he wanted the car physical on site, which might be this Wednesday, so I am being very patient.................
We have decided to pick it up as soon as it comes and forget about 2012! We have Friday afternoon off just in case.

Gosh, I seem to be in the minority here.
I got the phone call last Monday to say that my oft delayed car (last est date for collection 12 Jan could be ready in about 8-10 days. The negative was I would have to take delivery on a 61 plate.
If I wanted the car on my private plate, that would delay delivery until Jan.
For that reason (and also for the fact the car would be registered as a 2012 car, i chose to wait.
Please do not think it was a quick and easy decision (bearing in mind the snow lying about Scotland right now)

Got my phone call yesterday and my car will be ready for collection this Thursday 22nd. Wevare so excited as we placed our order in May, so it's been a long wait.

Well wasn't gift wrapped but it is Fab! So pleased I picked it up today and didn't wait until Jan
