RE: RRS 5.0 to Evoque
Go for it
The depretiation on your RRS is only going to get worse given its the old shape even if its an amazing machine.

I'm offered an Evoque Dynamic Lux with £2k dealer contribution, £1k LR contribution for taking their pcp (which you have 14 days to change mind and keep the £1k) and 33.5k for my RRS which has 10k equity in. Also £200 towards a towbar. Works out 418 per month over 4 years. Good deal (or should I ask for a brolly as well??)
It's a bit annoying to have lost 6.5k on the RRS in 9 months, but that's dealers markup for you - and 0-60 of 5 seconds has been a blast
It's a good deal. Ask them to throw in a free 5 year maintenance and a spare wheel.

I went from a 4.2supercharged Sport to the Evoque and the only things i miss are the adaptive cruise control and the split tailgate / sliding parcel shelf.

RE: RRS 5.0 to Evoque
Good point about the adaptive cruise. Doesn't the Evoque have an emergency assist brake so if I forget at least I won't plough into the back of another car!
The 4.2 likes a drink even more than the 5.0. Looks like it might be my last weekend with the charger so I'm going to enjoy it - within the speed limit of course.
Anything else you miss on the Sport? I know the Evoque is not such a testosterone fuelled vehicle but looking forward to not killing so many trees.
Does the Dynamic Lux also have the off-road cruise that you set at 1-3mph and it just rolls over everything?

RE: RRS 5.0 to Evoque
The All terrain Progress Control is an option, not standard on any Evoque. You used to be able to spec Evoque with the adaptive cruise too but since the change to Ingeniun engines I think it has fallen out of the options list
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
