RE: New to the brand or old hand?

5 Freelanders (good and bad) before RRE. Still reckon best 4x4 by far for the money IMHO!

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

Joining 2010 Freelander XS Td4e in Stornoway Grey (we like Grey!)

RE: New to the brand or old hand?

This is my forth but first RR

Disco 3 TDV6 auto
Fl2 TD4 man
Fl2 SD4 auto
RRE TD4 pure

My disco was the best of the lot, it gave me the most headaches but it's the one I would have back in a flash. I still pine for it but it really isn't ideal for a single guy, but it did make a good passion wagon.

RE: New to the brand or old hand?

Well here is my passed history of Land Rovers - it all started in 1996 when I part-exchanged a 3 month old Rover 216 (became the Rover 25 i think) for a Disco1 V8i ES 5 door with all the extras, 1 year old and 26000 miles - straight swop for the wee Rover!
Then it went:
Discovery 2 TD5 S Auto
Freelander 1 TD4 Auto GS 5 door
Defender TDi300 Hard Top (which I still have 10 years later and it's now 16 years old)
Range Rover TD6 SE
Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDv6SE
Range Rover Sport 3.6 TDv8HSE (the best car I have ever owned and would be back to one tomorrow if LR re-introduced them)
Range Rover 3.6TDv8 Vogue (2010MY)
and now the Evoque

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Why do you go through them so quick?
