RE: Keys stolen.

I feel for you.

Why is it called insurance? When most of what we want or think is protected ISN'T.

RE: Keys stolen.

I bought the additional 'key and lock cover' on my LR Insurance - it wasn't too expensive, but I have no idea why they have to have all these bolt-on extra's. No doubt there is some kind of covert exclusion somewhere that I haven't noticed (or understood) that will invalidate the policy unless the keys are taken by force by a three-breasted Lithuanian transvestite wearing a gorilla mask.

Had: 2013 Prestige Auto Lux
Have: MY17 Autobiography in Waitomo Grey with Ivory/Espresso interior, HUD, Adaptive Cruise, Adaptive Dynamics, Dynamic Driveline, Wading, Massage Seats. Delivered 17/09/16

Buy our Insurance, it doesn't cover you properly for the things that are likely to happen, and if you do use it we'll recoup the money from you next year...

Could it be construed as "mis-selling" - quick phone one of those ambulance chaser no fees companies!

Hi guys.

Just to let you know I got the car back on Saturday, it was ready for collection on Monday last week but I didn´t need to use it this week.

Total cost - £1485 Big CryBig Cry

So my suggestion to you all , make sure your keys are secure if you leave them in your homes.

David.

RE: Keys stolen.

That's absolutely awful, David! It's bad enough that these low life pond scum break into your home and steal your keys, but then to add insult to injury, the aftermath of their actions costs you a grand and a half.Sad I really feel for you, ..I won't be letting my keys (both of them) out of my sight after hearing this. Surprised

Time to get back to enjoying your lovely Evoque again. Paula Smile

Ouch... how do they justify those prices for 2 keys and some reprogramming, which is all it should need I reality, even if it is specialist reprogramming since it as a security feature.

RE: Keys stolen.

Just a thought Dave, I'm watching Rip Off Britian on BBC1 - have you tried asking them for help with the insurer?
