To be fair, the insurance would probably cost tens of thousands based on their age...insurance for young people is pretty steep these days.
Can't believe all the comments people have written beneath the article...suggesting that it is a waste of tax payers money etc etc! Perhaps these people would like the royal family to ride push bikes and live in tents...that should make them very newsworthy and attract loads of tourism. Or perhaps the Royal Family should stop taking the £40m we give them every year and keep the £200m+ that they currently surrender to us from the Crown Estate instead...that would be a great deal for the country! Jeez...

Yes, but the progeny of Air Miles Andy and Fergie were never going to set the world on fire and so it has turned out. I don't see them doing anything useful at all.
Now, if Pippa had bought one, I'd be cheering from the sidelines...

I wonder if the Mail bothered to ask the Royal Protection Squad officers what they think about rear leg room as they will doubtless have to be present every time those girls go out for a drive. Surprised LR didn't wait and give them a Beckham edition as they must be right in the sales target group for that.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Hopefully, the Beckham edition has been dumped. LR have bigger things to worry about and if they don't think the Porsche Macan is going to be potent competition, they should.
