Heated Seats not switching off?

Invoke we get recalls of 100's of thousands of Toyotas by the manufacturer here because a single car suffered a melted electric window switch mechanism..........

Checked manual they come on automatically depending on temperature.

I read it that they come on independently at a specific low temperature, not in conjunction with the heated rear screen.

Did use it yesterday when we had the frosts.

Drove home last night with the rear screen heater turned on to test this theory, even though it was +2 outside the mirrors stayed cold.
