HDC in reverse?
Does it work when you are slipping backwards? Just had a thought when reversing off my steep drive in the snow but was at the bottom before I got chance to try it out.

It works in both forward and reverse, and if you have a bigger RR with high and low ratio gearboxes it works in both ranges too.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: HDC in reverse?
Does it work going uphill or only down (I appreciate it's called descent control but just wondering).

RE: HDC in reverse?
Yes but generally speaking you drive up a hill so you won't feel it working until you lift off the gas, but then also generally you won't be travelling so fast going up hill. It will also work if you reverse up hill but I've never (as far as I know) tried it doing that!
