HDC in reverse? - woodhouse - 10-02-2012 09:42am Does it work when you are slipping backwards? Just had a thought when reversing off my steep drive in the snow but was at the bottom before I got chance to try it out. RE: HDC in reverse? - Dim$on - 10-02-2012 09:47am I think it works RE: HDC in reverse? - XFullFatTim - 10-02-2012 09:53am It works in both forward and reverse, and if you have a bigger RR with high and low ratio gearboxes it works in both ranges too. RE: HDC in reverse? - dandavis1 - 10-02-2012 11:40am Does it work going uphill or only down (I appreciate it's called descent control but just wondering). RE: HDC in reverse? - XFullFatTim - 10-02-2012 01:24pm Yes but generally speaking you drive up a hill so you won't feel it working until you lift off the gas, but then also generally you won't be travelling so fast going up hill. It will also work if you reverse up hill but I've never (as far as I know) tried it doing that! |
