Fake LR wheels

This is less likely to happen to an Evoque by virtue of it's lower weight but it is something everybody on here can learn from.
Follow this link to the Disco3 forums. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic77709.html
Go direct to the last post on the first page and see the results of buying fake LR wheels to fit to a Discovery 3.
Bear in mind that these cars weight in at 2.8tonnes and can be loaded up to 3.5tonnes and the result of this could have been horrendous. RRS/FFRR and Disco3-4 have very high weight rated tyres and wheels which many choose not to adhere to for the sake of looks.

Cheap wheels don't necessarily mean safe wheels...................

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Fake LR wheels

I guess there is a reason why these alloys are expensive, bloody hell.

My initial thought was to go for cheaper winter alloys to save some money, but after seeing these pictures, I think I'll be swapping the rubber every winter.
