Anyone know if we can retrofit the new head unit (2017) on 2014 Evoque

Hey guys. I see some screens on ebay for the newer evoque. I was wondering is this just the lcd screen or is this the full head unit? I want to retrofit the newer display to a 2014.Anyone have any idea if this will work? Is the lcd screen a full headunit or it's just the screen?

I believe that he want's a newer ORIGINAL multimedia system, not a Chinese clone.

Many of those clones are really poor quality and with no support.

Also will depend on the date the car was built as to which IC system it has......... I had a February 2014 built Evoque that was one of the first to have the original InControl systems, about 2 months after taking delivery LR announced the 2 generation system and I asked for an up date............. the initial product and 2nd generation were not compatible systems so it wasn’t possible - so do check if your car’s build date is before or after September 2014 when the 1st 2nd gen IC systems were released in the 2015MY cars. The 2nd generation systems also gave lots of problems when they were updated at subsequent services too
