Anyone fitted black bonnet lettering ?

I have just changed my RR lettering to Gloss Black.

At the moment there are no Evoque templates around for the lettering, and suppliers don't know when they will be in!

So i had an idea..

First i made my own template by masking around the letters top, bottom and sides of each letter and then warmed the letters using a heat gun on a low setting and i then i used a plastic cable tie to remove the letters by sliding underneath left to right.

When the letters were removed i used white spirit to wipe of any residue left, and then replaced with the new Gloss black letters and removed the masking tape..

This took less than an hour to do..

looks great cutter, where did you get yours from, are they a good match to the originals?

Got them from powerful_uk_ltd

The letters are the same thickness as the originals.

Looks good and these do seem to be the site to get them from - can you confirm that the shaped fit against the bonnet is good. Thx.

They fit perfect, @ £70 for bonnet and tailgate so they should!.. Hope this helps.

Now you need to photocopy a few dozen templates and stick them on ebay
