Aftermarket Evoque 20" rims credible??

All, I want to change out my 19" Evoque wheels for 20" and have seen the aftermarket Evoque 20" wheel "replicas" on e-bay for considerably less than the OEM price. They come in the right bolt pattern but are 20" by 9" width rather than the stock 20" by 8" width... Question, are these replicas credible and will a 9" width rim negatively impact the Evoque in any way? Personally, with a 20" rim the 9" width is not an issue with me as long as it fits OK on the Evoque?

Appreciate your insight!

Please anyone with insight, would appreciate your feedback, really close to pulling the trigger on a set and don't want regret...

Putting anything other than Land Rover approved accessories like aftermarket wheels is likely to void your car's warranty.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Really, a correctly fitted non OEM wheel will void the entire vehicle warranty...I don't think that's legal?

RE: Aftermarket Evoque 20" rims credible??

I have wheel/tire insurance from my LR dealer, and when I brought up the issue of upgrading to aftermarket 20" rims, he said my additional wheeltire insurance will cover the repair of the wheel, but will not replace aftermarket rims. If in case I upgrade my rims and damage it beyond repair, they cannot replace with the same RIM, and most likely will replace with stock rim.

As for warranty, I think it should not void the car warranty since it is a bolt on item. Well, in the US anyway, I believe it should not apart from damage directly related to the aftermarket rims.

I recently put on aftermarket wheels on my car, and immediately afterward took it in for its 1 year service. So I don't think the warranty will be voided.

To be safe, just stick with a stock fitment for your aftermarket wheel and tire.

Thanks everyone for the information, I would plan on using the same size as the OEM 20's, 20 inch wheel x 8 inch width. The OEM replicas were 20" x 9" so I probably wont go with them.
Cheers!

I had my 19" OEM replaced with 20"x9.0's. I used 245/50/R20 tires on them and it fits perfectly. The overall diameter is not very different with the 19" OEM and according to online tire calculators will only give me ~+1% speed difference. (Plus sizing should not exceed 3%). For me, the tire-wheel combo looks perfect on the Evoque.

Cool and thanks for the feedback! Great to hear from someone who is actually driving on the 20x9's! I've gotten busy and haven't done anything about my wheels yet, but did find these 20x8.5's going to see if they will can make them in 20x9 for me as I like the wider stance look (think X5 Sport):
