RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Great thread. Some questions:

Trying to get the black pack look for my Dynamic. Thinking of just colour coding the rear bumper silver exhaust trims and bumper in gloss black and doing the rear lights to complete the look. On the front would like the black pack look,

1) Lots of parts for sale on ebay - headlamps seems to range from £500 to £1000 - any differences or just one type of headlight? (Some say HID, other halogen).

2) NickJ - can you list the parts and prices you paid for yours from duckworth? My local LR dealer priced up lots of mounts and clips and the prices came out around £5K!

3) Anyone fitted dummy bonnet grilles - any pics?

4) I have a Dynamic Lux - any issues with cameras/parking sensors to be wary of?

5) Anyone solved the headlight issue yet?

Hi, can answer some of your qs but not all.

Yes, gloss blacking certain parts will give you the look your after.

1) are you talking facelift lights or not? Hid and xenon are the same thing. Halogen is a normal bulb so unlikely you'd want these. Depending what you want you've then got black pack lights or not and price varies a lot.

2) can't remember costs but 5k is crazy. Think bumper and fog lights was around £1.3k , Grill £250 ish, but now cheap on ebay. All the other parts should transfer over.

3) yes fitted dummy grills, may be pictures in my old threads but in the end got a vented bonnet as couldnt live with the fact they were stuck on.

4) don't know.

5) no, not yet.

Update:
Apparently @Bee (username BEE here on the forums) knows of some company that can retrofit the LED headlights MY16 and MY17 for 2400 pounds in the UK. That's the LED healdights not the xenon headlights. Interesting. I contacted him to find out WHO. But haven't heard back yet.

Is that including the headlights? Bee - tell us more. I contacted DCC and asked them and they seemed unsure and said the conversion sometimes worked in some cars and not others.

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Not that I've seen. I'd question whether the Orange one pictured is even a conversion. Just looks like a 2016 model. I didnt get the impression the conversion was sorted and works. Will call them again as I when I called he was not able to talk at length.
