Nick, can you shed light on how others got everything to work except DRL'S? Someone mentioned a software update on the evoque computer perhaps?
Did you see that video above? I wonder how that company is doing things.

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

The garage that had a go at mine got everything working bar the drls by swopping 2 pins around in the connector. That was really easy.

Yes- saw video- need more info. Looks like they are the states. Why don't you mail them, then if it works you can ship them out to us guys in the uk

This is how the UK wiring maps across from old to new. I've tried voltages from 0 to 20v to get DRLs to work without any luck.

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Thats interesting, from your diagram there is no sign of a LIN bus unless thats in 10-12 for the auto levelling, I've seen LIN on other wiring Diagrams for the headlight.

What strikes me immediately is Pin 9 - 4 looks more like the common although you'd expect if the wires were doubled for current through the pins all 3 would be doubled.

Can you see what is behind the LED connector? Or is it all built into the light and inaccessible?

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Really interesting thread and congrats on the work so far. It looks fantastic. You may have seen them already but I spotted this company in the UK who offer a full conversion: http://www.dcc4x4.co.uk/categoryView.php?cID=40

It looks like they only sell the whole package though, but I guess there's no harm in enquiring about just getting the lights done as it sounds like they've got the wiring sussed.

That's interesting. They must just of posted that up as I've been googling facelift conversion for a while and get nothing back. Away this weekend but will be calling them up Next week and see what the deal is. Looks a good deal if they provide LED sig lights aswell. I'd only need lights and wiring as everything else done so will ask what they charge. The answer could possibly of been found!

Fingers crossed! It would be interesting to know how much they quote. That's the only thing holding me back from doing the conversion on mine.

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

On face value the conversion looks good value IMO. Rear lights and front LED lights could be £1500 second hand and they are stating the headlights are new? Front bumper and all accessories could be 1k, then front grill etc. looking forward to finding more out about this.
