RE: 2014 MY and LR website

It isn't just exchange rates - in the USA there is a lot more competition not just between marques but also between dealerships selling the same marque whereas here dealerships all stick to the makers recommended price with only tiny discounts - a cartel in effect.

Heartbreak - I hope you got some things of interest in the email Wink

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

After having a good think today, I think we would go All Black 5 door dynamic with Style 7 alloys, either that or Firenze with Black Roof.

I have given an indication on the figures I would seriously consider and he didn't laugh at me!!

Even if they don't keep Style 7's you can do what I did with my Pure Tech & that was take it with the 18" wheels, buy a set of Style 7's off Fleabay then sell the standard wheels thus saving a fortune.

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!

Yes, would do if it came to it. Having real issues on a spec, keep switching between Prestige and Dynamic, really like the element interior, but am starting to think an Indus Silver dynamic with Black pano roof, when I look at an all black 5 door dynamic it just seems a little dare I say blandConfused

Orkney Grey 5 Door Prestige, Manual SD4, Vibe Interior, Panoramic Roof and Privacy Glass. Order Placed 2/7/11 Picked Up 17/3/12, Gone 10/5/14

RE: 2014 MY and LR website

Evoque definitely looks better in bright colours - I'm having doubts about going for Ipanema, it may be a bit insipid for the shape however my next choice is Aintree which is a dark and dull colour but it would work better with the 2014 Tan Plus pack interior. I really liked Cardiffeveoque's Firenze Dynamic with the Ivory Plus Pack interior and white contrast roof - decisions, decisions!

Some of the new techie additions I'd gladly take, but I'm pretty sure some of them will be reserved for higher trim lines than I'm willing to do. Ah well.

The wait continues!

All the dealers have the price break downs available. I got one from a local dealer about 3 weeks ago. I'll have to see if I can find where I put it.

Tim, I'm waiting to see if the colour range changes. I still hoping that they'll bring out the RRS colour range soon in tems of grey etc. that'll swing it for me. However, I've always wanted a Aintree Freelander, not so sure (yet) about it for the Evoque.

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

Joining 2010 Freelander XS Td4e in Stornoway Grey (we like Grey!)

RE: 2014 MY and LR website

New colours for 2014MY are Loire Blue instead of Baltic Blue, Zanzibar Bronze (only available on Coupes) - Colima Lime goes out of the colour chart too. No new greys like Causeway or Scotia Green

Tim,
I've been told that Orkney Grey is out and that a new one (forget the name) is in.

The shade sits between the Orkney and the Stoneway one that I had on my D3.

I can tell you been configuring cars of all makes, and the LR configurator is very good compared to others... Be even better when they get it updated!
