Confused At least you got the configuration done already.

Any other luck troubleshooting this? With the two CCF settings enabled, the next thing I'd check would be fuses. I believe fuses #40-43 cover anything headlamp related. You can find them in the engine compartment fuse box:

RE: Xenon Headlights

335i...I just had another thought, did you perchance buy adaptive HID headlamps (AFS) instead of the regular HID?

I'm looking at the Evoque service manual and apparently the AFS's connector is wired differently--which means another element you'd have to correct for that Jim and I didn't encounter.

RE: Xenon Headlights

My lights are HID normal and not the AFS. All lights are working fine so I doubt the fuse is an issue.

Question guess I'm not 100% clear on the issue. Hopefully you get a break or someone else chimes in.

Finally configured my headlight swap!

I don't know about the DRL coopak, they don't look very bright (dimmed mode only).

Is the picture with the blue tape on your bumper the DRLs on with the ignition during the day? Because that's way too dim??????

Can we see photos of the DRL's on in the day light (both with and without running lights or dimmed and bright mode).

Also, do the DRL's work off the ignition or your light switch? Please clarify this along with confirmation that your configuration works like factory installed stock.......

RE: Xenon Headlights

Could part of the issue be that you haven't got the required headlamp washers needed to go with the BiXenon lights and the controls are trying to find them?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
