RE: Is the Evoque easy to park without the rear camera

I find the camera quite useful, but also still turn my head a lot as I am not yet ready to rely on it completely. I don't find the sensors very helpful -- I find them far too sensitive. They seem to reach a continuous beep when the front or rear is still pretty far from the object or wall (maybe 10-15 cm), and that makes them pretty much useless when I need to get into a tight spot... does anyone else find that too?

The reason you have a gap at the rear is to allow for tow bars etc. still a bit excessive though.

It also allows you enough space to open the boot if you have the electric opener, so you won't scrape the paint work on whatever you are parked close to

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
