Heated Steering Wheel

When I bought my Evoque MY2013 Prestige I didn't configure a heated steering wheel, which I now regret. Can I now retrofit one? I saw a couple of YouTube videos showing how to do it on a MY 2012 but I'm not sure if I can do it on a 2013 model. Any ideas? Price? I'm in London. Thanks guys.

RE: Heated Steering Wheel

Yes you can and several people on the forum have done it themselves

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Heated Steering Wheel

I've retrofitted one, I posted on here about it (with costs).... can't remember off the top of my head.
Bit basically it's 2 components.... the heated wheel itself, and a new slip-ring.
I got the wheel off ebay (mis-advertised as a regular paddle wheel), and a new slip ring from duckworths through the site.

Actual swap over took about 20 mins, and worked first time... and honestly... it's worth it!! lol its superb in those cold early mornings Smile

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).

RE: Heated Steering Wheel

I have a brand new unused one in my garage now for sale. It is for a manual car without paddles. You will need so my dealer told me a rotary coupler for it to work.
