Has your build/delivery date been put back?

Originally ordered a Pure at the start of June with delivery date of 15th Jan 2012 this was then put back to early Feb 2012 so I changed to Dynamic & now delivery is 23rd Dec 2011.

Deposit Jan 2010, ordered April 2011, planned delivery date 23/09 then moved to 23/12! Pulled out of purchase and bought a built car last week from somewhere else.

There seems to be a few who have had cars put back till 23/12. Maybe this is so they are saying they will be built 'this year'. Might actually come sooner??

If anybody is sick of waiting and is looking for an OG Prestige Coupe with manual gearbox I have put an ad in the for sale section. Car is being supplied shortly to a main dealer.

Deposit April, Ordered June, Build date given 30th Sept,
Put back to 3rd Oct, put back again till 4th Nov,
Expecting Delivery around 15th Nov.

Ordered in Jan. told delivery sept, then Oct, then couldn't give a date, then 20th Oct, and now 30th Oct....so hopefully sometime in my actual life time.....

Original dates:
Build - 11/11/11
Factory Complete - 18/11/11
Delivery - 25/11/11.

Revised dates issued today:
Build - 9/12/11
Factory Complete - 21/12/11
Delivery - 28/12/11.

Somehow, it now takes an extra 5 days to build the Evoque........

Not happy considering this was meant to be a surprise xmas present for my other half

Update - Brendan at Harwoods confirmed that my car is on track for Nov 3rd delivery but he is hoping that it will be in October, mainly for my benefit and his target! Whoopee

However he did mention that LR are moving build dates around at the moment but it is an exercise to improve build streams. He said that whilst some dates are going wild he has been advised that things should reset to more realistic dates shortly. What I think I am saying is that those of you who have found your build date move by three months may find the dates coming in.

My build date moved by three months, then back again by two months, hence an overall delay of one month!

Delivery was meant to be this week but was phoned by the dealer who said it was delayed until November.

Rang around a few other dealers and found a car in stock available for immediate delivery with a spec more suited to me as well!
