Might even make it flush with the body. RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - gead - 16-09-2011 07:45am speaking of track and offset, does anyone have a photo looking down the side of an evoque from the rear, to get a sense of the amount of 'poke' it does or doesn't have?? I will be getting delivery of mine at the beginning of December and a car like the Evoque needs all season tyres especially at that time of year! RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - XFullFatTim - 16-09-2011 10:21am And my Dynamic is shod with 20" Continental CrossContacts for the UK market. RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - gead - 16-09-2011 10:41am Tim, are the Continentals a summer tire? maybe LR are cognisant of the demands of uk winters (surprise surprise) RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - XFullFatTim - 16-09-2011 10:48am Just been out to look............... On the sidewall it states Continental CrossContact 245/45R20 103V UHP-E as there is no M+S marking i assume (I will have a look on the Continental website) they are summer tyres OK here is what the Continental Website says Quote:The ultimate performance tyre for your 4x4 The webpage is here http://www.conti-online.com/generator/www/uk/en/continental/automobile/themes/4x4-tyres/standard-4x4/crosscontact_uhp/cross_contact_uhp_en.html I note they are 100% onroad tyres too so I hope I'm not in for a BMW X3/5 winter experience, stuck for weeks on the drive because I have the wrong tyres! I'm off to the tyre shop to order up my snow and ice tyres this afternoon! RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - DynamiqueDan - 16-09-2011 12:46pm The 20" continentals were M+S marked as far as I remember? Not on my Dynamic Plus, I cannot see an M&S marking on any tyre. Might be something they only put on the Plus models RE: Tyre manufacturer(s) - Jonathon555 - 16-09-2011 06:38pm (16-09-2011 01:46pm)XFullFatTim Wrote:(16-09-2011 12:46pm)DynamiqueDan Wrote: The 20" continentals were M+S marked as far as I remember? So even with the 4WD cars , will we need to put winter tyres on them ? The only tyres I have seen on the Evoques so far non have M + S markings , the michelins just look like pilot sport pattern Are all evoques just fitted with summer tyres ? |
