The problem with film tinting is that if the fitters put it on the wrong side of the glass then all the wires for the various antennae show up worse. It has to be applied very carefully. The factory tint is limo tinted glass it isn't film and the antennae wires are stuck on top of the surface
On the tinted glass issue, is anyone telling their insurance company? Some class it as a " modification". if you Google "Do i need to tell my insurance" then its a minefield with lots of conflicting suggestions. Last thing anybody wants is a claim made void due to the small print of a mod not being declared. My insurance also charge £25 to make any amendments so guess many others jump on that bandwagon. Do the insurance companies know the spec the car was sold with?

Depends on the insurers - mine aren't interested in the options fitted but they do get uptight about mechanical changes like engine remaps/ chipping, sports exhausts and things that increase the power output/ performance. I'm sure if you declared a Pure Tech with a £55000 value most insurers would query what you had done to the car. A lot of insurers will not cover the panoramic roof as glass but as a body panel, then you loose you NCB if you claim for it cracking/ breaking. It does make sense to tell them everything not factory fitted or dealer fitted you have added/ changed on the car so that you can get some of the money back for them if the worst happens

We Added the power tailgate, Privacy Glass & for a bit of fun the Command shift, wishing i had also gone for front fogs but looking at ways to install without having to mess with the stalk 7 wiring loom.....

Hi,Would suggest that you consider staying with 18 standard wheels etc., and also would recommend the powered tailgate.
Also I went for the Xenon headlights which are fantastic and also the spot lights.
Would not re specify the panoramic roof as this seems to attract additional heat into the car during the warmer weather and is mostly closed off by the electric blind.
Would definitely order the optional electric seats as the standard electric height adjustment on the Pure Tech drivers seat does not provide the height and angle of the fully electric seats.
Rear view camera is good especially for caravan hitch up.
