seen a my 16 at Liverpool showroom. to bee honest I'm not keen on the double fin or the fog light panel.
also I prefer the original signature lights. but that's just my opinion.

That double fin has killed the look of the car in my humble opinion. Would probably get used to it, but it look's like something a boy racer would bolt on an XR4i.......Blast, I've given my age away!

Anyone speccing the Pano roof gets it, according to the config.............I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I'm so pleased to be getting a black stubby antenna on my non-Pano roof (well, I'm hoping I will).

Spoke to my dealer friend today about this and he reckons it is something only for Evoques destined for the French market - something to do with a single fin not being strong enough to cut through all the string they use for their phone network......... Smile)

Tim......You're a genius!

My wife gave me a strange look as I burst out laughing after reading your post.........Then, she accused me of watching that midget porn stuff........AGAIN!

Saw a double fin MY16 at the dealers today and you only get the double fin if you go for the Wifi option! One less option for me then....

The configurator shows the double fin if you add the Pano roof........Another error if the dealer said you have to opt for Wifi.

Andy,
Yeah, just seen that...kinda strange but as always the dealer didn't know for example that if I went for the Black Pack again would the colour change on the Dynamic bumpers from colour coded to Black, as the colour coded Dynamic bumpers are new? So was he right about the Wifi bit?

What I've noticed about "re-designs" of successful cars is that after the initial design has been around for a few years, the .2 version comes out and it looks like they are trying to cut corners, rather than enhance the value. It's like the bean counters are saying "OK, your car is popular now; how can we realize more profit?" Case in point, the MY16 skid plate al-yew-minium (for you Brits) finisher is only available on the upper trim levels, not on the Pure trim levels. Without it, the front looks like a big black hole under the front bumper.

I then went on to update 4 ECDIS Chart folios on my Transas iSailor app that are getting on for 700mb each in a similar time. I'm lucky to see 5mb/s and more often it is 8kb/s on my copper wire Plusnet connection at home ...................... If I had 4G that fast at home I would give up my land line connection

Ditto here. Sadly, we only have 2G if we are outside (no signal indoors) so 3G is a dream let alone 4G, which I've tried in various cities with the same results as you. Same with t'internet - the best speed we ever get on a good day and off-peak is 0.3 Mb/s, although we are 7 miles from the exchange.
