RE: New Evoque ordered - Briany22 - 15-03-2015 04:56pm Thanks for that link it is really useful and TBH once I looked at it I did think that I would cancel. However as you say cant wait until your new Evoque arrives I must admit that I am a bit the same it would be nice to have my already ordered Evoque next month instead of having to wait a further four months or even more Decisions decisions and decisions why is life so hard!!!! Hope the weather is good for you when the car arrives best of luck RE: New Evoque ordered - XFullFatTim - 16-03-2015 12:25pm Edmonton, yes it makes a huge difference whether you order through a dealership or 3rd party............... as you are finding out. If you had ordered from a dealership direct then you might not have got any discount (in fact highly unlikely you would get any these days) but you would have got your car in February via the "usual" routes ordering in November and sooner if you had taken what a dealer had in stock. I don't understand why people think that LR should give 3rd party non-franchise dealerships priority over their own franchised dealers when selling new cars? Just wait until you need to make a warrnty claim - your 3rd party agency won't want to know once they have your money and the dealership network will give you the same amount of priority for repairs and servicing as you are getting for purchasing, most won't even offer you a loan car because you are not one of their customer base - hard fact of life I'm afraid. |
