RE: Which cherished plate? - ant - 07-08-2011 06:05pm I've gone for ANT **A. Vanity, Chav, cherished .... call it what you like. I'm doing it because I want to and can, in common with 1000's of others. If you don't want to then go with a standard 61 plate. Each to his/her own. Tim, have you decided yet? ANT PS, I've also got ANT **A for my Stag which is a consequetive number to the Evoque plate. RE: Which cherished plate? - XFullFatTim - 07-08-2011 06:28pm Might start with the FA57 RRS and see if anybody notices if I change to FA57 RRE later on! RE: Which cherished plate? - Blackseries - 07-08-2011 06:38pm I will probably swap my XX AWD plate from the TTS on to the Evoque. Changing the plate from one car to another is a darn sight easier than changing all the Passes and Permits that are based on the reg number. RE: Which cherished plate? - XFullFatTim - 07-08-2011 06:44pm I have 2 trailers and a bike rack that all need new plates if I take the standard issue ones when I buy a new car too, another reason for transferable "private plates" RE: Which cherished plate? - ant - 08-08-2011 07:22pm (07-08-2011 06:44pm)FullFatTim Wrote: I have 2 trailers and a bike rack that all need new plates if I take the standard issue ones when I buy a new car too, another reason for transferable "private plates" Good point Tim. Out of interest and for the benefit of other forum members, how much? Not for me as I have my own private plate. RE: Which cherished plate? - IKM - 01-01-2012 10:15pm Or try a plate from N Ireland, cheap as chips and almost ageless. Also includes letter "I" which helps IKM! Wouldn't consider a plate on retention as you never really own it.
