RE: TPMS - RacingSnake - 06-03-2012 11:45am Just hope they get the evoque cabrio before november lol RE: TPMS - XFullFatTim - 06-03-2012 06:23pm It's also "type approvals" so Evoque won't be getting it but the next FFRR and RRS in 2013 will have to have it, the Evoque cabrio may be exempt as the RRE already has type approval RE: TPMS - item - 09-03-2012 08:48pm Hi, I have sent à mail to the european headquater and this is his response Quote:Monsieur Item, First time homologuate after 1/11/2012 => TPMS RREvoque homologuate before 1/11/2012 => no TPMS 1/11/2014 => all new car must havé TPMS Regards RE: TPMS - jitenc - 05-05-2012 12:36am (09-03-2012 08:48pm)item Wrote: Hi, Hi. Could we please have a translation.... Checking each word in the dictionary takes a lot of time...... RE: TPMS - XFullFatTim - 05-05-2012 09:53am Approximately translated (it is 38 years since I left school!) it says "only new cars type approved after 1st november 2012 will be required to have it. Cars homologated before 1st 2012 can still be sold without TPMS up to 1st November 2014." So I guess RRE might get a minor face lift for 2015MY to incorporate a TPMS in the spec for sales in November 2014. RE: TPMS - cjfp - 20-08-2012 08:59pm Not sure of the exact thread but I remember that some are having issues with TPMS (and this is the latestb'tpms thread) so thought this might be of interest having seen it on Topix SSM58057 - RR Evoque TPMS fault message Anyone know the content ? Or this? SSM53997 - TPMS low pressure warning displayed RE: TPMS - XFullFatTim - 20-08-2012 09:34pm I have it on mine and I wouldn't know if it is working properly or not - an icon comes up when I press the Start button and the car goes through the self check and then it goes out, so I assume that because it hasn't stayed on all is OK! Might have to try letting down a tyre and see what happens (don't panic I do have a working electric compressor - learned many years ago that large tyres and a foot pump lead to rapid exhaustion!) RE: TPMS - jitenc - 20-10-2012 03:23pm My TPMS showed up today on the rear wheel. Turned out I had low pressure to 2.6 compared to the required 3.2 psi. Must be a slow puncture but just put some more air and monitoring to see what happens... Hope the new compulsory TPMS for the new Evoque shows the actual pressure in the car. This would enable one to determine when to fill the air in the tyres... |
