RE: Movie hack - XFullFatTim - 27-06-2013 07:28am If you don't have surround cam I don't see how you can have Birdseye view, how can just a reversing cam see what's to the sides and front of the car? I have surroundcam and only use it when I want to park very close up to my garage door or I'm off road trying to squeeze a fat car through a narrow gap but for 99% of the time it's not much use. Different Birdseye view, see posts #99 and #100 @racingsnake: Figured it out, since installing the video in motion module the Birdseye view can be enabled via the parking sensor button next to the touchscreen. Alternatively it comes on after selecting drive after reversing. This way the parking sensors are enabled as well. The Birdseye view disables itself when the driving speed is over 25-30 kph. So free bonus with the module RE: Movie hack - DonRaja - 01-08-2013 09:44pm Hi all, I'm new to this forum and a happy owner of a 2012 Havana Brown Ed4 Pure. As most of you in this thread, I too wanted to bypass the safety check on the HDD DVD system. I do not have any camera's, so I would purely benefit from the bypass option. To get to the point, can I still buy this unit? And are the users who have installed it, still as happy as they were before? Thanks a lot for your advice! (sorry to be nosey) RE: Movie hack - goldenboi79 - 07-08-2013 12:14am You guys realise that if you push the parking aid button it brings up the (poorly named) bird's eye view, right? All it is is a top down view of the parking sensors; not the camera views. RE: Movie hack - Rein - 07-08-2013 05:13am @goldenboi79 This is obviously true for the later models, but not for cars built in 2011 and early 2012 like mine. @donraja I was wondering when someone would ask me this question Every European licenceplate has a vertical blue bar on the left side. In this are the 2 letters for the country in which the car is located. In my case NL for Netherlands, but for the UK this is GB. Now for the sticker part: our Dutch licenceplate is yellow with black letters and numbers. I can live with that, but there is nothing blue on the car, so the blue has to go. So I put on special reflective black stickers over the blue part. The black ones look exactly the same as the blue apart from being, well, black No this is not legal, but a whole lot easier on the eye, especially on a black evoque like mine RE: Movie hack - chani1312 - 16-10-2013 09:42pm Hi guys I have just purchased a module for TV in motion called Xcarlink Got it for £100 off eBay. Has anyone used this? And is it good Thanks. Bought it a month early. Époque is coming mid November Thanks RE: Movie hack - sewy_01 - 27-01-2015 05:25pm (16-10-2013 09:42pm)chani1312 Wrote: Hi guys Hi, chani1312 Did you get this fitted ok? If so what was the outcome? Hi, Just wondering if you still have the instructions to fit these at all? The link no longer works on the website? Many thanks, RE: Movie hack - Daveparky - 14-02-2015 10:39am Hi, is there anyway to get a hdmi (audio and video) input into the front screen? |
