I have now tested and it works perfectly. The rear view camera now works differently. When i put the car in reverse before it went straight to camera, now it gives to a birdseye shot (in the correct colour) and displays a visual guide of how close you are to an object. Anyone who has driven a i-drive BMW will know what I mean. You then have a soft key to enable the camera; when you then start driving forward again the default is now a blank screen and not the screen that you had before. It isn't a problem but strange how i now have this additional useful extra graphic that hasn't been mentioned in any of the adverts or write up so far. Also the my video soft key now says my video/tv although pressing dtv soft key has no effect

My car has the reversing lines and proximity blocks when im getting close to something as standard but the interface should enable these, If i remember from playing with mine as factory you can have rear view and lines as i have mine now as well asjust lines or just cameras.

Ill double check what options i have as standard. As you drive forward you should get what you had before you selected reverse after afew seconds as normal.
