Hi all....
I've managed to convince myself to buy an Evoque. The running costs have been putting me off, but the new Service pack has helped lower those costs.
There doesn't seem to be any wait for one at the moment, which is perhaps why I managed to get 10% off.
The deals are there for the taking!

No you got 10% off a runout model............ The spec of the 2014MY will be announced in the next few weeks and LR has old stock to shift to make way for the new Model Year! It is also the end of the month and dealers bonuses feature highly if they are a few cars short of their bonus point and more willing to deal.

I'm looking at an Evoque as my first LR and not sure about the MY13 with an aimed 10% discount or waiting for the MY14. The service offer is certainly a very good incentive.

It's going to be built at the factory rather than one already built and in stock. And what changes will there be between the 2013 and 2014 model? So far, a couple of colours and the new Auto box, which I'm not getting.
Did much change from 2012 to 2013?
I'd rather save the money....

LR badge on the front grille,LR in place of RR wheel caps,POI on the sat-nav,non permeant live socket in the boot.......I'm sure theres a few more small changes some ware.
As you have ordered the manual gear box, take the 10% & cracking service plan
it's not like the body panels are going to change shape.2014 model has a V6 380bhp that does 45mpg

Nothing has been released yet, supposed to be a new 9 speed automatic gearbox coming and some very minor spec changes, possibly some colour changes, but RRE is still too new on the market for really significant body, engine or specification changes. 2012-2013 changes where mainly cosmetic - badging and software

My depreciation was 22% in 6 months with only 8000 on the clock. Buying a run out model saves you 10% now but will probably cost you more than 20% once the spec changes significantly ie gearbox change
