Seen a few and looks like the sensor can be placed to receive the signal. The bigger question is mirror based or dash based? Wire it up or rely on solar with reduced functionality, or... just not speed (responsibly of course)!

No news from Japan yet, but did stumble across this interesting site on the 2014 MY with fairly lame video. Apologies if already picked up elsewhere:

Ship ahoy!! My baby will storm the beaches of Tokyo Bay on April 10th. A couple of weeks for customs and registration and I should be cruising the streets by the end of the month!

Fresh off the boat! Alas, not mine, but must be fun to unwrap that present!

Paperwork done, just hope it clears customs and registration at high speed!
Call from the dealer today...one week and counting! Roll on next Saturday!

Loan approved; parking space confirmed; personal plate ok; coating requested. All in place for the big day, especially as it falls on a long weekend.

All good things come to those who wait they say.
wont be long then, hope when it arrives you fully enjoy it

Many thanks. The good news on top is the dealer will fit the speed radar for free! What a nice chap!
Dealer called, car was registered yesterday, coating is going on today, which means pick-up tomorrow! Excited? Me? Perhaps a little!!

Insurance adjusted, playlist created...it's going to be a loooooooong night!
First trip is planned for Monday. From Tokyo towards Hakone and a few twisties along the Toyo Tyre Turnpike.
