Zanzibar Dynamic MY14 with Black Pack

Tim, I know your getting nearly the same car as me but here's a small update for the rest of the team.

Ordered mine (as above) in November with a delivery date of before Xmas, all was fine until I saw the build sheet which didn't have a winter pack (German option). Anyways, said no I didn't want it and my order was resubmitted, correctly this time, with a build date of last week. With a very hopeful delivery date of 10 Jan!

Problem was that we had booked our winter holiday and I have already sold my Coupe and I didn't fancy driving to Austria in the wife's Ford Ka!!

Dealer said I could borrow one of their cars fitted with new 20" winter tyres and a set of snow chains free of charge and keep the car until mine was ready. More than happy with that so last Thursday I picked up a brand new white 5 door Dynamic (50 miles on the clock).

And to make up for the mess up with order they have offered to pay for the first service.

Now I know we go on about the lack of service from some dealers and that LR should get more involved but some (dealers) out there are doing their very best to make customers stay loyal to the brand.

Interesting to see that the sat nav display, in the loaner, is sharper than my old 2012 model also it was the first time I'd had the manual gearbox and basic sound system. Not fans of either.

There are some great dealerships out there, they just don't get heard about because nobody moans about poor service from them!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Sorry MarkA_ don't want to put you off. I'm sure it's fine and will serve you well. It was just I have come from 18 months of the 825w system and I noticed the difference.

The standard sound system still sounds great, it preferred to to my Bose system in a previous car.

I would *hope* you noticed a difference (since it costs more!) but whether it is *worth* the extra cost can be a different question. Cool

After hearing both then I think it's worth the money, the 825w system gives a far fatter sound.

The best bit of my Evoque, and the only thing I miss, was the sound quality of the 825w system. The B&O in the SQ5 is good, but the 825w Meridian in Trifield mode was simply stunning in audio quality terms.

Delivered 15th May 2012, rejected and returned 4th Feb 2013 - SD4 5 door Prestige manual with a bucket full of rattles Mauritius Blue. Crazy Audi MY2020 RSQ3
