Drop the mats - buy elsewhere, see the various threads on here.

Yes, it will still come with all the 'charge' points.

RE: Xenons - what's the difference

Belgium is well lit at night, so I don't see the difference between xenons and normal lights. I'm glad I got them for the signature leds. However, I'll be less happy if the xenons ever fail on me.

My current car has a few charger ports but I use the lighter plug for my phone/tablet charging.

Thanks again!

Evoque comes with a normal cigarette lighter outlet (without the lighter) in the arm rest as well as two USB power points, one specifically for iPod and the other which I use to charge my phone. Additional cigarette lighter power outlet in the boot.

RE: Xenons - what's the difference

If you are always driving in London and never/ rarely on country roads at night then Xenons would be a waste of money as you would be driving on dipped headlight round town anyway, same on urban motorways so you are not going to see the benefit of the Xenons or the adaprive xenons if you drive 80%+ of the time in town. Save the money and buy something that will make the town driving more pleasant instead!
I agree with CJFP, cancel the mats, you can get better quality for less money after market at Halfords or on t'inernet

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Get the xenons as standard, as it is illegal to put bulbs in aftermarket without headlamp wash and
approved lens fitted!

RE: Xenons - what's the difference

leeselee,

it is not uncommon for the salesmen not to come back to you, "they are very busy ha ha".

There is good and bad everywhere, but in my own experience not as good as say MB or BMW.

Your choices seem quite good, the all around camera is an option I wish we had gone for, regarding Xenons, because it is law to have Daytime running lights fitted, the Signature LEDs stand out as part of the design principal and the car looks stunning with them, but you are on the inside of the car and don't seem them, although Xenon headlights themselves are much brighter, it is not an easy choice.

Evoque No3: MY15 Dynamic Lux SD4, Auto, Santorini Black, Pimento Dynamic Plus Sports Seats, Ebony headlining, Pan Roof, Shadow Chrome Alloys.

RE: Xenons - what's the difference

If you do a lot of night driving then opt for xenons, but I wouldn't pay £710 just for signature DRLs. My personal thoughts are that the signature lighting should have been standard across the range with or without xenons as the halogen light units have all the outlines for the signature lighting.
