Wrong Date year on TOPIx

I'm sure some of the connoisseurs on the forum will be able to answer this question for me
Just looking at my car on TOPIx and its saying my Evoque is a MY12 ... Even tho it's a MY11 on the log book and old number plate before I added my P-Plate

Be interesting to hear what you think on this

RE: Wrong Date year on TOPIx

Build date is Nov, 2012MY started build in August/September 2011, Each new model year starts build in late Aug or early September each year and if there is a 0.5MY they start build in February and the first ones get delivered to dealers just after the March 1st new registration plate. The date on the logbook is the date of first registration not the model year, tax man doesn't want to know which model year only trim, engine size and emissions

BTW, it's not a good idea to show your VIN in full in a post................... Too easy to clone

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
