Land rover had it in today to replace the sensor, it has not got a sensor to replace .

So there you have it

So the only explanation is the factory forgot to fit it - my first evoque was a November 2011 car (SD4 pure with halogens) and definitely HAD the low washer fluid warning. I was impressed at the size of the tank as it only required filling twice in the year I had that car!

My car deffo appears to have no warning as I have fully ran out of fluid twice.

My manual also does not mention any warning.

I use that -60 deg C screen wash that does not really freeze in Britain

Mine doesnt have one, ran out twice, cant find anything in the manual either

RE: Wot? No screen wash level warning?

There apears to be two size washer bottles

3 ltr & 5.5 ltr

My car has the 3ltr bottle so this one has nO sensor

5ltr bottle has a sensor

That makes some sort of perverted sense, 5 litre bottle probably for Xenons so no Xenons no warning light. Bit stingey for a Range Rover Shocked

I think its even simpler than that

If you have headlight washers 5ltr halogen or xenon

No headlight washers 3ltr

Bit daft as they need 2 different bottles rather than common parts
