I jumped ship yesterday, mine went back to the dealers for cash my way after the engine needed replacing.

Im left with a vx220 for now. This will do until mid october after my hols and then the quest to find a cheap snotter estate to see me through til evoque arrival begins.

The sensible bit of me is now thinking that my bank balance is so healthy i should cancel the evoque and pay half my mortgage off with the cash.

Could it be that the RRE is the 'ideal' car - has a bit of 'everything' ?

Great shout...I have been saying for a long time that it's the ideal car and covers more bases that any other car. I have always maintained that the FFRR is the greatest car in the World, but the Evoque has to challenge for that title given it's adaptability.

If the RRE had a switch that turned the frugal diesel into a roaring Supercharge then it would be the PERFECT car...decent engine sound is the only thing it is lacking to make me 100% happy

RE: What is your current car?

Disco 4 is supposed to be the "do anything" car according to the motoring press, everything from executive limo through family hack to Transit van for lugging big loads in the back

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: What is your current car?

DB9 is gone now, so my need for speed has to be suppressed. The Evoque will do for now, but I do so hope they put a TDV8 in it! Then it will truly be an all round world beater.
Like Tim, this will be my 7th Range Rover and 8th LR product. I guess I'm a "lifer"

RE: What is your current car?

The SD4 seems to be a fairly tight fit under the bonnet Ant - how about a 2.2 TDv4? or half a TDv8..........
