Unusual Evoque

Living close to Gaydon one often sees unusual RR vehicles, usually in some sort of disguise - was this one?

On our estate tonight there is 5 Evoque in Firenze /black roof - with a single exhaust, looked like a Pure. I thought TD4/ED4...as I got closer I noticed that the exhaust tail-pipe kind of pointed down at a funny angle, the badge on the rear said 2.0 4 - the plates had Land Rover UK on the bottom.

Delivered 15th May 2012, rejected and returned 4th Feb 2013 - SD4 5 door Prestige manual with a bucket full of rattles Mauritius Blue. Crazy Audi MY2020 RSQ3

Testing out the new engine designs?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Unusual Evoque

Could it have been the new Freelander in disguise? The current model has a single exhaust that points down.

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

Joining 2010 Freelander XS Td4e in Stornoway Grey (we like Grey!)
