Unable to access surround camera in reverse gear? Please advise.

Hello All,

I got the 2013 evoque prestige trim with surround camera option installed. When I am in reverse gear, the rear camera goes on and I see a little arrow pointing downwards towards the top left of this rear view. When I click on that arrow it doesn't do anything. Isn't it supposed to show more options? I cannot even hit the home screen and go back to extra features to select surround camera in reverse gear. Is there some addition feature to add on to access this functionality?

I had Surround Cams on mine - and it worked the same way as yours. It seems that rear camera takes priority which is frustrating because the one time they would be useful they are unavailable.

The surround cameras are great fun driving down the highway with them on, watching cars behind or in front of you is mildly amusing for aboiut 10 mins.

OK, here's what happens in my launch day delivery car with surround cams and I have the factory fitted tow bar which may have some bearing:-
In reverse if I touch the arrow in the top left corner I get another menu, mainly options to switch off/on 4 functions like audible warnings, graphics, trailer assist, tow hook zoom in, and an option to take me back to the camera homepage which allows me then to select which cam/s I want to view or the special views. As there is only one cam at the rear then of course I only get the reverse cam, but I can also select the under mirror cameras or the front two cams from the usual surround am menu, even though R is still engaged in the gearbox. Will try to get soe photos for you. Now back to my first sentence - it may be that having the tow assist function enabled makes a difference - my car has also had the software upgrade ( doesn't make a huge difference by the way) that makes the reverse cam come on sooner after R is engaged.
