Nothing wrong with old technology. There is only so much you can put in a standard wax or polymer sealant from one year to the next.
We put petrol in our cars - that is very old technology!

To be honest as will most waxes if a truck wash or similar is used. You must wash your car with a proper car shampoo or shampoo with wax content.
I have no real dealings with Supagaurd but I do apply Diamondbrite & Autoglym Lifeshine which in the great scheme of things all these are very similar but as with everything are only as good as the person who applies it.
I would be very sceptible if many or if any of the "Detailing" waxes are much different in terms of longevity. I use Autoglym Hi-Definition Wax which I find very durable at a lot less than some of the so called detail waxes!
